Lindsay Alstrom for the Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks
I am so proud of this new collection featuring my custom illustrations and designs in collaboration with the Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks and Best of Pescadero. Each design was inspired from my field explorations to Pescadero, Natural Bridges, Nisene Marks, and Sea Cliff parks.
I hope you will support the State Parks by purchasing these custom goods at their gift shops and online store.
The Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks collaboration started over a picnic table on a sunny morning at Wilder Ranch State Park. The objective was to apply my Critters design to products for their gift shops and create an array of new imagery that reflected the unique character to each park to be sold in the Park’s five gift shops. Utilizing local and ecologically responsible resources was a mandate.
Setting out to find local vendors and eco friendly resources was part of the fun and community building. In doing the legwork I have enjoyed meeting new people and establishing new relationships and local partners in digital printing, silk screening, and certified green printers that can deliver of wide range of custom goods and products.
